Abe and Faith after they flew back to their nest. It is quite hidden, but by walking around I found a small opening and there they were! The nest is to the right in the crook of the tree. I know I was concentrating so much on getting the closest shots I could get with the longer lens I had on the camera, but I must have pulled back (I actually forgot I had taken this one) to try and get as much in the frame as I could. Priscilla and I went out photographing yesterday morning, hoping to see some eagles. There are three nests I watch, and two were pretty quiet, but one was quite active. There are three eagle nests that I watch, and at one of them there were two born this season. One is still at the nest, but I’m sure he won’t be there long as he was branching like crazy yesterday. They are not only back, but the eagle mates have reclaimed their old nest. I had to go out east a few days ago and thought I’d check on one of eagle’s nests that I watched last year. Well, they aren’t babies, they are eaglets and wow have they grown since I was there last on February 23. I am putting the dates on the pictures from now on for accurate documentation. This morning they came about 8 a.m. to start flushing and routing out our plumbing. I left for a few hours while they were here (it's nice having Pete home to take care of things like this now) and went out to check on one of my eagle's nests.
