I've had a frustrating couple of days with Amazon. Apparently my package was somewhat damaged yesterday and the driver returned to the processing place. It was supposed to be delivered (delayed) today, but when I check the website the details are 1) being process, 2) being processed, 3) out for delivery, 4) being processed (the last one at 12:45 ( Read more... )

Deep in the website for Hennepin County Libraries I found News. My local branch library will open Monday, November 13, finally! The restoration took longer than expected, due to the extremely hot weather this summer. They were replacing the roof and dealing with brickwork ( Read more... )

When I went for a walk this afternoon I noticed that the scaffolding is gone from around the local branch library. The roof was being replaced, and the library has been closed since late June.
