randomly: when I walk around the neighborhood, or down the alley, I make note of car logos, identifying the cars I pass by brand if not by model. This is not exciting, but it helps me pass the time. ;-)
If classic cars were involved, that would be more challenging. (note: my brothers would win this game) I still see Mercurys and Pontiacs occasionally.
Oddity: a Mercedes and a Porsche parked in my apartment lot. Hmm. All I can think of is that the owners are new to Minneapolis and need a reasonable rent and month-by-month lease, in a really nice neighborhood. Perhaps they will move to another state in a year or two.
In my neighborhood: far more Suburus than Mitsubishis.
My past: seeing a gull-wing Mercedes in a movie, age about 15, and thinking it was amazing. Getting a lift in a Jaguar in London. Yes, when I was 19. :-)
