After work I went to a nearby gas station. Upon leaving--well, long story short--I drove out too quickly, went down a nasty curb and ended up with a flat tire. I turned around and drove back into gas station parking lot. I drive a 2001 (two thousand one) Pontiac Aztek. I bought it new, with a couple of hundred or so miles on it.

Last night I was out running a couple of errands when I noticed my odometer turned over to 78000 miles!

Last week, after much calculating I decided I had enough money to take my car in to be repaired. To refresh your memories, I was told the head gasket was cracked. I didn't have the money to get it fixed. A coworker recommended a place who quoted something like $600 less than the previous place.
