Did you remember to turn your clocks forward? I mean the ones that don't go forward automatically.
I drive a 2001 (two thousand one) Pontiac Aztek. I bought it new, with a couple of hundred or so miles on it.
Last night I was out running a couple of errands when I noticed my odometer turned over to 78000 miles!
Yes, that is seventy eight thousand (and 3) miles. Yes, people are amazed to hear my 11 year old car only has 78,000 miles on it. My home/work commute has just never really been more than 25 - 30 miles round trip.
I did not bother trying to change the clock, because I don't really know how. I think I know, but am not sure. There isn't any point anyway because since I got the car the clock has had something wrong with it. I think I once figured out that it runs something like a minute and a half fast per month and only once or twice years ago did I try changing and correcting it during the time changes and decided to not bother any more. Since I got it repaired last year it has been several hours ahead. Last night at 9:30 it had this time:
If I need to know what time it is while I am driving, I have my phone or usually my watch to look at.
Recently while googling for other problems about my car, I discovered I would have to have the radio replaced in order for the clock to work correctly. The radio works fine and I rarely listen to it anyway. I prefer silence or I have to listen to my phone's google maps instructions.
