You put your world on hold for me
Gave away to follow failure through the fire.
When I opened my eyes it was already dark in the motel room.
But the darkness never has afraid me and never will. The darkness in this world is safe, gentle. Not the painful black ink fire I was chained to.
Even if you’re silent and unmoving I know you’re here, I always can say when you’re around, you’re a light through the darkness veil. The only thing I’m not sure about is if I’m awake or if I’m still sleeping because your eyes are too soft, your look too gentle. Mind you, you’re an Angel! Love and gentleness are inhere in you, deep roots in your halo.
I’m not moving, not I’m intending too, I’m too tired. Sammy and I have run three days nonstop and I do deserve a little rest. You shouldn’t be invading my dreams or you shouldn’t be awakening me with your blazing eyes.

Sammy went out to buy some stuff for us to celebrate a better Christmas this year. He left me to rest and take a shower. I’m still bloody. I felt asleep before having the chance to only think about a shower.
I feel rested now. Calm. Free.
“Your brother is back” you said to me and I just can’t tear my eyes from you.
I know you’re going to go. But I don’t want to let you go. I catch your hand and hold it tight. Perhaps that I’m even hurting you. It is the first time I’m touching you. You’re too cold. My hand is burning against your wrist. Will I leave a mark as you did on my skin?

I don’t want you to leave. Why? I’m not sure I’m ready to answer that question. Would it better for you to not answer it? You know the answer. I don’t want you to fall.
