deep in an awesome story
don't be in doubt and stray
cling to your lonesome folly
It’s raining cats and dogs and you’re sitting outside not caring at all. You wish you’re here for hours since you got out of Nicky’s but truly it certainly wasn’t five minutes ago and here he is. Tyler. Everybody would say “leave him alone” but Tyler would never agree to leave you more than fifteen minutes alone. Everybody would say that he is annoying, everybody but you. Since the moment you got out you’ve been waiting for him. You’re pathetic, you know that. But you just can’t bear to be away from him.
He sat next to you, his hands in his pockets. In silence.
“She dumped me” you just said after a moment.
“I saw…Everybody saw. Not really nice on Christmas Eve” answered Tyler, his voice even more gentle than you’re used to, his presence warming you. You lent a little more against his body.
How could anybody howl stones at you because your mind is intoxicated by him?
“Girls just don’t like being named wrong…” You sighed.
“You did it…again? Didn’t you?” he smiled gently at you.
You just nod.
Really, you don’t know yourself why you just can’t remember any other name than Tyler’s. You know you’re fucked up. You know it.
“Ty?” you gently called him.
“Hmm?” he answered looking at some car that just parked, his beautiful face covered by crystal raindrops.
“Tyler” you called him again, trying his name, loving the sound it makes on your tongue, the feelings it gives you in your soul, your heart beating faster, your blood pulsing like mad in your veins. Everybody has always wanted you to be a stray child, a good child, everybody but Tyler who has always taken you the way you are. You don’t want to pretend to be stray anymore. You want to be you. You want Tyler to be yours. No more other names you wouldn’t ever care to pretend to remember.
Your cold fingers touched his face and he is looking at you again. You aren’t thinking anymore. Why would you be the only one to be denied happiness? Love? Why would you leave anyone else has what’s yours?
When you gently kiss those warm and wet lips you feel whole for the very first time. This is completion.
“Your hands are cold” he whispered never pushing you away.
“I’m sorry” you mumbled feeling a deep blush running on your skin when his eyes laid on you.
“Why won’t you let me warm them up?” he said while his lips are brushing against your cold but so sensitive skin.
“Tyler” you moaned without shame.
“You got it right” he teased you his eyes as dark as yours.
And you so should go back to your dormitory but you wouldn’t have time, you’ve waited too long for Tyler to be yours, so his Hummer will have to do.
