You’ve always been more than just a Knight for me, more than a woman. You’ve been yourself. The one I wanted to be with. The one I didn’t dare to approach because of my poisonous blood. Not the so bright and vivid red of your hair, but the dark spoiled and rotten blood of a traitor.
You’ve always been strong, your fists as sharp as eagle’s claws though you’ve never been able to rid yourself from your gentleness. Even that mask the Knight’s Laws make you wear doesn’t make you less pure and human.
I’ve wanted all of you for so long, I couldn’t even remember a time I laid my eyes on you and didn’t want to eat you alive, the magnificent lion devouring the soft eagle. I’ve always been so enthralled by you, by your voice, always so gentle in my ear, to understand I was digging a bottomless gap between you and me, a dark gap where we meet, where I end and where you begin.

I’ve always been a powerful golden lion. A pitiful and lonely king. All fear my murderous paws. Not you. You thought them soft and considerate and heroic. I’m not a hero, my beautiful bird! I don’t even deserve to be call a Knight or wore my armor anymore.
