So please have snow and mistletoe
And presents for the tree.
You’ve thrown a tantrum. Right, now, you admitted it.
But, really, how could they think just a second that you’d stay there tonight? How could they think you’d agree to celebrate Christmas without Oishi? Never! And they should be ashamed to enjoy themselves, certainly eating like pigs right now, when Oishi is alone and hurt! He is the vice-capitaine. He’s a member of the team. Even if he couldn’t be there, with you, because of his wound. Still, it isn’t right the team celebrating Christmas without him! You just hate them! Dot.
But now, you’re at last sitting in a train that will lead you to Oishi and you just can’t stop smiling because you’ll have your Christmas with him. What could you expect better?
You’re pouting.
Everybody is saying that you’re pouting and are mocking you. You so hate them! All the members of your team. Didn’t they say they wouldn’t come? So, why are they, all of them, here in Oishi’s home? Why? You know you’re unfair. They do deserve to be here and you know that Oishi is happy to have them here too but you just have imagined what a Christmas alone with Oishi could be coming here and…it wouldn’t have been so bad. Far from bad.
“Eiji!” Oishi’s cheerful voice is calling for you “Could you please help me in the kitchen?”
You pout. Again.
Why do you have to be the one to help in the kitchen? You can barely open the fridge without ricking your wrist. But you do know you’d do anything Oishi would ask from you. You’re so busy pouting that you didn’t see your very best team mate standing at the door waiting for you. When you bumped into him he just grinned at you showing you to look above your head and then you saw it, the mistletoe.
“It is the tradition” he gently smiled at you blushing a deep red.
But you didn’t wait for him to finish his sentence before hugging him with all your might and kissing him fully on the lips.
“This is the very best present I ever got, Oishi” You purred to him not letting go.
“Your present is under the tree, Eiji” he stuttered.
“No. It isn’t” and you wouldn’t let go, looking at him straight into his so deep and bewitching emerald eyes “It is right here”.
