June 1st hit me hard this year for some reason.  I was at a birth that day and I actually caught myself start to write "2006" when I was writing the date on the charts.  It's the month of Abby's 7th birthday and Angelversary.  So unbelievable that its been that long!  I'll be baking a cake next Sunday and lighting seven candles ( Read more... )

I have felt pulled in a million directions all day today and I'm at the point now that I don't want to hear my children speak.  I just cannot multi-task anymore today.

It's a beautiful day outside, but I've had my first wave of Spring (cleaning) fever.  I packed up the ice skates, mitts and hats, winter boots and heavy coats, then hung up hoodies and set out the rubber boots.  I scrubbed the wall and floor tiles at the front entrance and sorted out the shoes;  I even broke out a Magic Eraser for the tough spots ( Read more... )
