Work: finished for the year. Uni: we're in Week 3. Ongoing coursework complete and submitted to end of week 4; week 5 readings done, submissions pending. Assignments due week 7 and 8 complete to 2nd draft stage.

Tax done, census done, now packing for the snow with best friend + now-competently toddling newest niece, et al. Probably no net access while we're up there, so it'll be an all-round holiday. On the other hand, DIY Autoclave is go. Yay.

Mum up and about - allowed to shower and take herself to the loo etc with a wheeled walker; also off the ventilator, trachea thingy out, and best of all able to SPEAK intelligibly (if briefly) via the hole-in-throat-button.
