Lovely week at coast. Completely failed to climb Mt Dromedary, poddled about on various beaches, hopped about on rocks, made coffee, read lots, that sort of thing. Saw starfish, stingray, first ever honest-to-God real-life octopus. LOVELY!

Very pleasant 3 days at the in-laws... swims, sunburn, night walks up Mt Taylor - night photography of the city (you can see most of Canberra from the top) has become something of a Boxing Day tradition with us; unfortunately we only had the one tripod, and it was wobbly, so I did stupid stuff instead.
