Today was my last physiotherapy session. I still have some exercises to do at home to continue strengthening my leg and will probably have to do them for years to come. The trees are about 50 turned right now. It's strange how one tree can be totally green still while it neighbour (same kind of tree) has completely turned. Last week we received an offer on our house in Redwater. Today we got a phone call from our realtor, the conditions have been lifted! Closing date is the 26th of September. WOO HOO!
As soon as I stopped worrying about the house selling and gave it all to God, things started to move. Thank you God.

Today is the first day in quite a while I haven't had any place to go. It is wonderful. The dogs let me sleep until almost 8:30 which is pretty amazing. I lounged in my pj's until noon and then got dressed so Maggie and I could go for a walk. Today we walked to check the mail. It's the first time we walked there since my surgery. I haven't slept very well the last few nights. For the last few years, around this time of year, just north of Gibbons and slightly south of us, there has been a music festival - Boonstock. The festival advertises that the music is "live and loud" and they aren't kidding. The pounding base goes on until 3:00 am. Thank goodness that this is the last ( Read more... )

I've been very busy lately getting our house in Redwater ready to go up for sale. Our youngest daughter and her fiance have moved in with his parents and will eventually move back to the city.
