Today is the first day in quite a while I haven't had any place to go. It is wonderful. The dogs let me sleep until almost 8:30 which is pretty amazing. I lounged in my pj's until noon and then got dressed so Maggie and I could go for a walk. Today we walked to check the mail. It's the first time we walked there since my surgery. It isn't a preferred walking route because I can't let Maggie off leash along it. There are far too many distractions for her. She enjoyed the walk anyway. Lots of new smells to check out and she got to approach a pair of horses that are being pastured near our rural mailboxes. They didn't actually touch noses but at least she didn't roll on her back in submission either.
The mosquitoes are bad this year, although with the breeze today, they didn't bother me or Maggie too much. I felt sorry for the horses though. They were covered in mosquitoes and were twitching constantly.
Our Redwater water house is listed on MLS, although without pictures as yet. I know that our realtor will probably have to go out and take a new picture of the front of the house. It was raining on Friday, so not the best light for showing curb appeal. Hoping and praying it sells quickly.
