time out

I've been very busy lately getting our house in Redwater ready to go up for sale. Our youngest daughter and her fiance have moved in with his parents and will eventually move back to the city. Their friends, work and hobbies are either in Edmonton or Fort Saskatchewan so it makes sense for them to head back to the city. Hubby is working on finishing the office in the basement and I've been replacing caulking in the bathrooms and touching up paint. Our realtor is coming out to see the house on Monday to give us some guidance on things we should do to make the house more appealing. I just want it sold. We enjoyed our time there and it provided a lower cost rent option for our daughter, but it's time has past. We are going to price it very reasonably so hopefully it will sell quickly.

I had physio this morning, and this afternoon I'm taking time out from working at the Redwater house. Maggie and I went for a walk and I must say that I'm enjoying our walks much more now that I'm able to walk without my leg brace. With all the rain we've had lately the trees are much more lush than they have been in the last couple of years. The Alberta Wild Rose or Prickly Rose is in full bloom and they seem to be everywhere. I've noticed a couple plants/shrubs that I don't remember from last year but haven't been able to identify them.

This evening I'm going to see a movie with our oldest daughter. Tuesday is cheap movie day/night. We used to go quite often but haven't been in some time.

house, wild flowers, walking
