I'm one of those rare people (or I assume people like me are rare..) who always plans to read some good classic lit, and somehow rarely manages to do so. Sometimes you run across authors you know that you should have read a long time ago, and somehow you'd *heard* of them (more than a little usually) but yet you never actually sat down to read their work. Here's what I spent the day doing (well, not all that long, since 11am maybe): Reading Maureen Dowd's book Are Men Necessary? I would like to note now that I *am* feminist, but I'm not necessarily too thrilled reading a book with that title. I read it for book club this evening. It wasn't my choice.
