I got another call about a summer position at Virginia Tech. They are hiring housekeepers for the dorms during the summer months and they called to alert me to the position to make sure that I applied if I was interested. I was also offered the housekeeping job that I applied to at the Inn at Virginia Tech.

Recent events have thrown a wrench into the works of my carefully laid out plans. Its made me question if I was ever doing the right thing in the first place. But, despite all that's happened I fiercely believe that this is what I have to do.

Beginning around the middle of Junior year I started cutting myself. I was incredibly depressed and suicidal at the time and it was a pretty low point in my life. Well, everyone. It's official. I've withdrawn from Drexel University and am returning home to go to NoVA Community College for the next term. It was an intensely difficult decision to make and many tears were shed while I was making it. But, the bottom line is I was miserable at Drexel and I really wasn't doing well in my classes in any way.

This year was bittersweet for me at best. But instead of recalling all the misery and woe of 2010 (namely the first 6 months), I'm just going to reflect on the good times.
