Another Call
I got another call about a summer position at Virginia Tech. They are hiring housekeepers for the dorms during the summer months and they called to alert me to the position to make sure that I applied if I was interested. I was also offered the housekeeping job that I applied to at the Inn at Virginia Tech.
If my luck continues like this, I may have more job offers than I know what to do with!
There are a couple things left to get in line, though.
In other news, one of the customers that I serve regularly in the diner that I work in told me that she and her daughter want to stay in touch! She also told me that she would be a reference for me if I ever needed it. That was just so sweet of her, I always look forward to serving her. Coincidentally, she is also moving. But she's moving to Nashville. I'm definitely going to miss serving her and her little girl lunch every day.
Also, A Dance With Dragons is SO exciting. If my phone didn't keep dying from me trying to read it, I'd never put it down!
