In light of yesterday's post, I have begun unfriending people on social media who bombard my feed with hateful, inflammatory speech and fake news of the race-baiting variety.

Yes, people have every right to exercise their freedom of speech.

But I have every right to exercise my freedom of listening.

I took my friend/fellow instructor out to a belly dance event tonight. She enjoyed it, although she had to step out of her comfort level to do so. If I had my way, every woman would take at least one six- or eight-week session. Belly dance has a fantastic way of making you fall in love with your own body. I was watching my friend/protege/class instructor tonight as she taught her numbers. She looked so happy. Saw a woman on the news who's name is Aywag Clatterbuck. Literally an hour's worth of laughter in there. (Still chuckling. Nope. Change that to still cracking up.)
