Squeaks past away this afternoon, and I've already shed MANY a tear about it. It's going to be so so hard to go home tomorrow and not be greeted by her jumping all over me. I am going to miss that little dog so much. I am glad though that she lived such a good long life and that she was so happy and active in old age. That's good at least. As Casey ( Read more... )

Because I was at Kristi's for a delicious dinner party of homemade Greek food! I loved it because I got to talk about Greece a lot - she's also hiked the Samaria Gorge!!! I really miss that trip. Today was productive. I chose two Colorado pictures for the two nice 8x10 frames Mom had in the laundry room, and ended up picking a beautiful aspen picture from the 3 sisters' hike Casey and I took this summer, and a picture of the lake at St. Mary's Glacier on the hike that Casey and I took the summer before. So today was pretty boring, but in the evening, Mom, Sam and I looked online for a DOG! Preferably an adult female of medium size that can be outside with Joey! Today I read 100+ pages in The Making of the Middle Ages. Now for several hours of reading, that doesn't sound like a lot, but this is dense stuff. And by dense I don't mean boring (well, not boring to ME. Maybe boring to you though.), just, dense. It's a very thoughtfully planned book and I really appreciate it's organization. Well done R.W.
