My sister is on her way! While the academic in me is freaking out to let 4 or so of these precious last summer days go by without any work, (especially since this paper is still hanging over my head) the person in me is excited to just enjoy myself and have fun and savor these last summer days with my sister and my husband. Today was my first day back to the office. I turned in GSA forms, filed away student exams, got out my Arabic stuff, and copied the notes into my canon law book, and returned a grocery store bag full of books to the library. So today, since dancestore.com gave me a discount, I bought myself some new swing shoes for dancing in St. Louis with my husband! They don't make the kind I currently have (and have danced to death) so I went with this little wedge with a swede bottom, and I think they're going to be great. We're having canon law on Monday this week cause of Holy Week (it's like an extra mini spring break at the end of this week!). I was annoyed that we moved class from Wednesday to Mondaycause it meant I did a lot of work this weekend, but now I have lots of time to work on my research paper because of the freed up end of the week! Since spring has sprung, I've declared this week No-Pants week, and am so enjoying the freedom of skirts. Both the skirt and shirt I wore today I've had since sophomore year of HS.
