Can I skip class and get straight to ice cream?
We're having canon law on Monday this week cause of Holy Week (it's like an extra mini spring break at the end of this week!). I was annoyed that we moved class from Wednesday to Mondaycause it meant I did a lot of work this weekend, but now I have lots of time to work on my research paper because of the freed up end of the week! I also don't have to teach! And, since we're doing the nazis right now, I'm happy to miss discussing that bit of the curriculum.
After Canon Law class tonight, I have an ice cream date with my classmates at the Fountain! Yay! But last time I was there I spilled zanzibar chocolate ice cream on my white shirt, so today I am wearing a dark pattern to disguise any potential clumsiness with hot fudge!!
It's going to be cool and rainy (supposedly? Idk it looks sunny now) this afternoon, so I've gone comfy, even though I'm dying to get back into skirts and free my pale pale legs! Although as far as pants go, you can't get more comfortable than old wide leg pants like these.

You can't really tell, but this "it might rain today" humidity has made my hair go out of control. You can tell here in this pic of me lounging between classes with Charlie that I took on my phone. It's been a bit of a lazy afternoon now that lecture is over. :-) I'd pull it back and get it out of my face, but sometimes it's fun just to let it be out of control. A headband will have to suffice.
Here's a closeup of my purple jewelry. I wear a lot of purple, so these bits of jewelry get a lot of use!
For walking around today, I went with a super comfy pair of shoes that are admittedly a bit dorky looking, but hey, that's academia.
