That’s basi­cally it - I had my lit­tle girl (yup a girl! Like hus­band thought so) her name is Lilith Enid Noella, she is now nearly three weeks old born 24th August at 7:36amand she is a lit­tle cutie (of course I’ll say this as her mother).

Well I have been on mater­nity leave for about 3 or 4 weeks now and we have reached 39 weeks, baby is still no fur­ther engaged then it was 4 weeks ago so it is just a wait­ing game.  Really enjoy­ing mater­nity leave been catch­ing up with friends and my fam­ily, organ­is­ing the house and mak­ing sure every­thing is ready to go!

I have reached it! The beloved Mater­nity Leave!! I have never been more excited - I am now offi­cially off work for a year (yup in the UK we get up to 52 weeks of - I only have 9 months of it paid and the other 3 months we are fund­ing our­selves). My work were really sweet and brought me and baby some presents.

It was a good week last week until Wednes­day - I was head­ing to work I was on earlys so up at 5:30am, on the train - 5 mins from get­ting off lis­ten­ing to music and I start feel­ing really sick so I think maybe I can make it to the loo, but I start to go dizzy, hot flushes and get tun­nel vision, have to get off the train with hus­band. Can’t believe we are already 21 weeks along, baby is very active keeps kick­ing me now and then, nor­mally when I really need to pee.  Hus­band has felt baby kick twice in the last cou­ple of weeks, most of the time the kicks are too light to be felt on the out­side, we started feel­ing the baby mov­ing about 19 weeks.  It is a weird feel­ing like ( Read more... )

Wait? What? I still have sinusi­tis - come on! I went to my doc­tors again on Wednes­day morn­ing because the headaches are just too hor­ri­ble to deal with even more so when I work at a call cen­tre so I am on the phones all the time, he said I have a high tem­per­a­ture and the infec­tion is now behind my eyes… I told him that this spray just isn ( Read more... )
