Last night one of my old friends had a birthday party - it was a "Swango Dance Party" and there were some very impressive dancers. I met up with more old friends, mostly from high school, and met some new people. I may need to check out the dance scene here - not club dancing, but social dancing. This weekend I had a grand time with various geeky pastimes.
On Saturday I finally got to see Secret of Kells with my parents.  It was a great little film - very different from what I expected but excellent anyway. It's been a good week, if busy.

I have a couple of looming deadlines - one for crafts, one for art.  So I've been alternating between quilting and illustration while watching TV. Mostly I did a re-watch of Season 3 of Babylon 5.  Now I'm torn between watching the last few episodes or letting it go and waiting until I acquire Season 4.

Have I been living under a rock? (Answer: yes, but anyway.) How did I not know that Ridley Scott was remaking Robin Hood with Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett?  That is, like, cinema gold right there.  Guarantee of my attendance, pretty much, and I don't go to the cinema very often (ok, barring Star Trek.
