Today was pretty good, aside from the rain. I brought one of mum's apple pies to work, and of course everyone thought it was awesome, 'cause mum makes super awesome pies. ✿ Still reading The Silmarillion, still nowhere near done, so I won't do a Reading Wednesday post tomorrow. But anyway, I'm still enjoying it. The story of Lúthien and Beren is probably my favourite of the stories in it so far, and I can see myself re-reading that section on its own in the future. My computer had trouble starting this morning. Something with the hard drive. I got it going eventually, but rushed to back everything up after that. Usually, I keep pretty good backups, but it's always best to be sure. Needless to say, this is not something that I appreciated happening at 5 AM.
