Empaths: Life's sacrificial lamb.
Still learning how to prioritize my feelings. Being an empath makes this difficult. But why do I chose to care for others before I care for myself (not even referring to romance necessarily.)
I am working on allowing myself to be mad. To not make excuses for other folks. I validate their whys even before they feed me their excuses.

fresh starts
I feel I am finally better, a lot better. I have felt this way for almost a month now. I can see a pic of them together, with the picnic set i got her for valentine's day that we hadn't yet had the chance to use and think its funny and ironic, but not feel sad ( Read more... ) -
priorities
Maybe its just the way i was raised, but family/"family" is very important to me. When i die, nothing in this world will have mattered except the relationships and memories created with and only to those i leave behind. Funny how poems and lit can mean different things to you at different points in your life. I once thought myself incapable of love. Now I know I can feel it but I struggle with the relationship responsibilties aspect, only so much can be blamed on the late diagnosis of ADD. Another struggle.

I heard something at church once about gossip and I feel it stands true for a lot of things mainly, trying to undo what you have done wrong. I found this similar story online:
