Today was my last day of official training here at the new job. Thank God. Now, if they hire me I’ll know how to conduct myself so that I’ll be considered a “good citizen”. Today is my third day here at the new job. So far, this place is pretty awesome! I’m still a temp until at least the end of the year, but I can live with that. I really love Fridays, and I have to say working makes them a whole lot more special. So does getting a paycheck! It’s really nice out today too. Or at least that’s what it feels like now that we don’t have to boil water anymore. That’s such a nice feeling. feather_brain70 said he was going to flush the pipes while he is home today. feather_brain70 and I spent Friday and Saturday on the Cape. I wish our visit was for a happy occasion, but alas it was not. His Step-Father passed away in an automobile accident the weekend prior to our visit. We were there for the wake and the funeral. Both were very sad. The wake was busy. My cold seems to be getting a bit better, but my allergies are still bothering me. I was hoping the cold snap would cut the pollen down a bit, but I guess not. Ah well.
