Crazy chocolate cravings at work today resulted in my purchase of a Resse's Whipped chocolate bar from the work vending machine. The wrapper shows a cutaway of the bar, which reminded me of a 3 Musketeer's bar. I suppose Hershey's decided to go after this niche of M&M Mars. Starting March 11, the cost of each additional Sirius satellite radio on a family plan increases from $6.99 to $8.99. Over the span of a year, that is $24 more. While that equates to one additional ribeye a year, it has caused me to reconsider having the additional radio. Like a train wreck... I just can't avert my eyes. But it's oh sooo bad.

This year, we/I decided not to eat out on Christmas Day. Instead, I ventured to make my first batch of fried chicken. I chose this recipe by Paula Deen over Alton Brown's since I didn't have any buttermilk. I used 1/2 cup of kosher salt to reduce my sodium intake and used only 10 drops of hot sauce but left the recipe otherwise unchanged.

I really liked "Another Gay Movie". The sequel "Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild" is a major disappointment. I believe the trauma from watching the movie caused me to forget to mention it in my SF2008 journal entries.
