I have a new nephew. My sister was due on Christmas but she went into pre-eclampsia and her BP was high enough at her appointment on Monay they said, yeah, baby is coming today. Today Brennan forgot to wear shoes to school. I was in the drop off line, turned around to help them get into their coats, and noticed the socked feet. I hurt my back on Friday- no clue how, I sat down to put on my shoes and thought "gee, my lower back hurts a little. I seem to be emerging from a mid-summer funk (finally) where I really didn't want to do any more than I had to do and was tired, in a rather bad mood, and just had no motivation at all to do much of anything. These last couple of days have been beautiful. I have my windows open with a cool breeze blowing in, the sun is shining, sky is blue, all of that and it is JUNE! I am not good at decorating. I have picked awful paint colors before and I am just not talented in that area. But, now it is time to paint the house- well pay someone to at least do the 2 story front hall- and I am having to choose a color scheme. My mom came in town last week. It had been over a year since she had been up here, so it was especially nice to see her. She finally got to see the new house (we've been in a year today!). I just finished a book that I swear I have read before but I have no recollection of the story and I missed the resolution. Somehow in the last few chapters, I missed it. Grrr.
