Shoes

Today Brennan forgot to wear shoes to school. I was in the drop off line, turned around to help them get into their coats, and noticed the socked feet. He looked down and said "where are my shoes?" really? Aren't you supposed to know where those are? I carried him in and had to race back home to find his shoes (inexplicably in Nora's room), race back to school so he would have shoes in time to go on the field trip. Arg. How does one forget to put on shoes? Especially after I have said it to them both 5 times in 5 minutes?
So now my day is shifted later that usual and I am doing this instead of making up the time. Guess I'd better get moving.
