had my last perinatalogist appointment today! cervix remains unchanged since the eighth of april. whoo-hoo! but, i'm still on modified bedrest until i hit 36 weeks. part of me thinks this is a load of bollocks, and that my first measurement of 41 mm was inaccurate. if i (and i guess bernie has some say as well) ever decide to become pregtastic ( Read more... ) -
spinach, sheep and spoilage
the mood around casa mar-tine has improved greatly. sunday was just a bad, bad day and everyone is entitled to one now and again. a good cry and a long talk with the bear helped, and then a snuggle nap clinched the deal. i'm back to dealing with things one day at a time and life doesn't seem quite so bleak.

nerves
today marks my thirtieth week of gestation -- three more to go until super scary time is over, six more until bedrest can be lifted no matter what, and ten more until turtle's due date. tomorrow marks my third week anniversary of bedrest and is also our third cervical ultrasound appointment. i found myself smiling foolishly in the bathroom ( Read more... ) -

two week bedrest anniversary
happy earth day! and happy 14th day of bedrest to me. haven't killed anyone yet and, as of now, don't appear to be suffering from inactivity induced psychosis.
my headache has gone away with the advent of the rain. i guess the sun going down cooled the air enough to let it start. my pea plants are already looking a bit more perky.

i just wish it would freaking rain already. this barometric pressure change is wreaking havoc on my tender head. my left eye keeps wanting to squint closed and my right contact isn't fitting very well today. and don't even get me started on my hair. all in all, a good day to stay to oneself.
