I really don't mind working nights. The only problem is that humans aren't meant to be nocturnal. But hey, I've adapted. I just work nights. Because of my rotation, I keep odd hours. If I'm on evenings, then I come home around 1am, go to bed and sleep in as late as possible before going to work. When I'm on midnights, then I'm in full on vampire mode for the whole seven day stretch ( Read more... )

So I'm working evenings and midnights at my security job. As a concierge, I'm supposed to wear a tie, but right now we're not in tie season. Yes, we have a tie season. The light bulb in the kitchen blew the other day. Absinthe changed it, no problem, using a regular old incandescent light bulb. The old light bulb was a CF bulb, which couldn't be thrown out because it contains mercury.
