Yes, I am still alive
I just work nights. Because of my rotation, I keep odd hours. If I'm on evenings, then I come home around 1am, go to bed and sleep in as late as possible before going to work. When I'm on midnights, then I'm in full on vampire mode for the whole seven day stretch.
Email is now my primary mode of communication with people now.
I've slept on the sofa bed in the basement more than in my own bed in the last few weeks, and don't see that changing anytime soon.
So yes, I am still around, just not on a normal diurnal schedule. To quote Nick Knight's answering machine message on the old Forever Knight T.V. show:
"I'm either in bed or incommunicado".
