Dad completed his hip surgery last night and all went smoothly. The surgeon is one of the most experienced at replacing hip replacements that failed. He said it was challenging but that it worked out well. Dad may get to come home from the hospital on Thursday, though he will have to stay under nursing care for a couple of weeks. Went over to B's to help with gardening. On a hillside made mainly of lots of little rocks. Tried to improve the dirt/rock ratio, raked it as smooth as reasonable, broadcast grass seed and clover seed. Watered. Nothing happened. Big disappointment. Will check back next week ( Read more... )
