I've been reading books longer than most of you guys (but maybe that just means I'm a slow reader . . . ?), but I probably don't read as many on an annual basis. Here are some I've read more than twice

I've never made it through the Bible, I admit. The old testament has lots of cool supernatural action and stuff (Though I can't immagine actually reading through some of the more boring list-like parts. Leviticus anyone?) But in the new testament I can never make it bast the gospel of Luke. Guy writes like a lawyer. Puts me to sleep

Actually I phrased it that way on purpose. The Bible can be translated into any language and it's still the Bible. The English translations we have are based on Greek, Hebrew, Syriac and other early texts.
But Muslims believe that the Qu'ran was established by Allah at the beginning . . . in Arabic. Translations are not the Qu'ran per se, but "the meaning of the Qu'ran." I don't know it it is the same with the Hebrew version of the Torah, for Jews.
