pnr came over on Wednesday and helped me clear the balcony, since they are going to start renovating them on Monday and I had two huge potted plants out there, a honeysuckle and an ivy, both grown into a trellis. A tip for anyone who -- like me -- felt less than happy with the way series 4 of Doctor Who ended: go read dwseason5! It's a fanfic journal, and it's quality fanfic. It's about what happens after the end of series 4, and it's brilliant. Well written, well plotted and excellent characterizations. (And I'm picky about things like that.)

Hmmm... Discshop has a reduced price on the BSG DVDs right now -- but of course they are region 2, and the region 1 DVDs have much more extra material on them. Problem is, I still don't know whether I can watch region 1 DVDs on my computer -- I don't know if it's my comp/DVD player that's locked to region 2 or if it's just PowerDvd that I always ( Read more... )
