A couple of weeks ago I saw a poster at the library that a youth club in town was organizing a Firefly marathon this Saturday, 10 pm to 10 am on Sunday. I've been working on an Empire corset for a couple of days, and C, one of the girls from the dance circle, came over so we could do it together. We started by enlarging the patterns we had in books, the one from Hunnisett's book, and the one in Underkläder. I'm watching Blakes 7, and just as Blake and Callie are about to get snuffed by Servalan and Travis, Vila and Avon come running and save the day by shooting the gun out of Travis's hand.

D, a Danish tolkienist,  just came by to return the Firefly box set that she had borrowed a few weeks back, before she drives back to Switzerland. It appears that she and her coworker had watched it three times through, and had bought their own sets, and couldn't stop quoting from the episodes to each other.
