The vet called me this afternoon, and said that judging by the sample I gave them on Friday, Rosa seems completely recovered from her UTI. There was no sign of bacteria or nasty crystals or anything in it. So that's the last of the antibiotics! Now there is the matter of her teeth left to deal with. Wow, I've been efficient today. snowgrouse wrote about leipäjuusto the other day, and I got curious, and discovered that there is a northern Swedish equivalent called kaffeost ("coffee cheese"), since the northerners usually cut it into cubes and put in their coffee. :) Also it seemed like it would work really well for a low-carb diet.
