There was no other way of putting it: Yoon Jae had just been dragged - quite literally- by Yoon Ki all around while he would talk to himself, looking for something and when they finally stopped, she was inside of a shopping mall store.

An employee approached them as soon as they got inside, asking if she could be of any assistance and to whom Yoon Ki asked for the location of the male clothing section. As she pointed out, he dragged Yoon Jae once again, not saying any word to the girl.

“Are you planning on holding my hand the entire afternoon?” Yoon Jae asked, finally tired of being pulled by the boy.

“I am just making sure you are not running away from your responsibilities” He said

“So THIS is what I have to be responsible for?”

“What else would it be?” He inquired, while picking up some clothes

“You know... your plan has a flaw. I might not have enough money to pay for the clothes you want me to buy and you might be in an embarrassed position later on” She said, seeing through Yoon Ki's intentions

“That's your problem because I have other means to make you be responsible and they will be even more embarrassing for you.”

She sighed “Why do these things only happen to me?”

“I'm going to try this out” Yoon Ki said, holding a pair of jeans and a sweater “Don't even dare to move from there, do you hear me?”

She nodded, nonchalantly

“I mean it!”

“Yes, yes,” She hissed “Do you want me to go in there with you so you can be sure I won't run away?”

He chuckled “That won't be necessary” And saying that, he closed the door, leaving Yoon Jae to sigh even more.

A few minutes was all that the girl had to wait and as soon as he was done, trying out the clothes, he put only his naked arm outside the door, his hand holding the clothes he just tried and asking Yoon Jae to go pay for them so he could wear them outside.

Another round of sighs from her and she headed to the counter as he asked, paying for the clothes and returning to the fitting room later, knocking on the door so that Yoon Ki would grab the recently bought clothes.
He didn't take more than two or three minutes putting them on as was out a moment after, grinning at the girl and handing her his previous clothes, dirty from her lunch landing “accidentally” on them.

“What am I supposed to do with these?”

“Do whatever you like. You can throw them away, make me a favour and wash them for me or you can keep them for you since you seem to like me that much.” He said, smirking.

She glared at him but he scoffed and headed to another section of the shop, while looking at other things. He was busy looking at some accessories when he suddenly caught Yoon Jae looking at a shirt at the men's section while looking completely depressed. She pulled herself together quickly though and directed her eyes at something else which caught her attention.

“Are you coming or not?” Yoon Ki asked, just about to leave the store.

“Yes, yes, I', coming!”

Both of them walked in silence as they left until Yoon Ki managed to ask her what he was curious about

“Were you going to buy it?” He asked and she sent him a questioning look “That shirt you were looking at”

“Oh that. No, I was just looking at it. I wouldn't have anyone to give it to.” She said bitterly

“Looks like the fight was serious, huh?”

“What fight?” She asked, unable to understand

“You and your boyfriend. You said once that you had a boyfriend.”

She smiled a bit although it was far from being a happy smile “It's a long story. I don't really have a boyfriend. Let's say that at the moment is just about the memories and moving on.”

“Shall I make it up to you then?” He asked, smiling “In order to make it up for having you going broke while buying me new clothes, I'll buy you a snack. After all you did throw your lunch at me so you must be hungry right now.”

“It's okay, you don't have to. I have to head out to college since I have classes”

“Missing one afternoon won't make a difference and I think you should take the chance while I'm being generous.” He said.

She smiled then “Alright, let's eat then.”

As her last was over, Hee Soo left the classroom and went to her locker and after getting everything she needed and closing the door, she turned around only to find Yunho behind her and it was enough for her to jump.

“Did I scare you?” He asked, noticing her surprise.

“You startled me a little.”

“I'll give you a ride home”

“Why?” She asked but as soon as she did, she remembered “Oh... my dad. You want to talk to him, right?” He nodded “Alright then, let's leave. I am also curious about that talk you want to have with him.”

Yoon Jae had spend the whole afternoon with Yoon Ki and after the snack he so generously bought, he decided that he needed more shopping which made Yoon Jae think she had never met a guy who actually enjoyed shopping like that.
He took the opportunity to go inside a book store as soon as he saw it and that was another thing that she had never seen: such a fascination with books. Sure enough she knew people who liked reading a lot but in his case it looked almost a compulsive action. She kept walking close behind him as he would take books from the shelves and as soon as he saw the 'new arrivals' section, he headed there and immediately grabbed another book however, this time he looked at it closely and read the information on the back, deciding to get that one too.

Once he got to the counter to pay for the books, he had 8 of them.

After leaving the book store, Yoon Jae kept looking at Yoon Ki, amused at the way he looked inside his bag full of books, taking out one of them from there - the one he bothered to read the description from.

“Is that a genuine love for literature or just an exaggerated need to spend money?” She asked, curious

“A bit of both, maybe” He said “Oh by the way, do you need a ride somewhere? I have my car parked nearby your college.”

“You can give me a ride until the subway station if it's okay.”

“I can drop you at home if you want to.”

“The subway station is fine, thanks” She said and he nodded, not pressing the matter any further.

After walking a bit until they got to where he had his car parked, Yoon Ki got inside, followed by Yoon Jae. He put his bag with his books on the back seat, along with the single book he'd taken from it and as he said he would, Yoon Ki drove Yoon Jae to the subway station. She thanked him and quickly went her way. He bothered to see her leave and only left himself as she went down the subway station stairs.

Yoon Jae went her way and quickly headed to the right platform, getting on the subway car as soon as it arrived and sat on one of the many empty seats.
She took that opportunity to get her phone from the bag since she did not even check if by chance Sung Ri had texted her, so as soon as she opened her cell phone, there she had: 3 unread messages.

«Aigoo... Yoon Jae, help! Why did you have to vanish after lunch? The talk with Junsu did not go well AT ALL! I think I messed again. I said I was going to see Moon Bin... T_T What now? Do I apologise again?»

«Can I ask where did you went? I thought you said you wanted the music sheets for the project... Do you want me to wait for you somewhere?»

«Alright, I don't know what is going on, but I really can't wait for you since I don't know if you want me to ^^ Say something when you read this, I'm starting to get worried»

“Aish... I totally forgot abou the music sheets...” She mumbled as she started typing a reply

«Hey, Sung Ri, sorry for not replying earlier but I totally forgot to check the phone. As for your talk with Junsu...I must say that although I don't know the details, you were really smart in mentioning Moon Bin and why the hell are you going to see him? I swear, if you're getting weird ideas about him...I'll smack you! One advice: Get away from him.»

She sent the text and closed her phone while looking at the subway line map to see how many stops were left.
At the next stop though she saw something that drew her attention: a couple that sat right across from her while being completely lovey-dovey. She kind of smiled after looking at them and then she had a sudden urge, so she opened her phone once again and sent another text, but this time to Yoon Ki:

«Are you free tonight?»

The answer came incredibly fast:

«I am. Why?»

«Do you want to go out?» She typed

«I thought you were tired of me.» He replied

She smiled, unconsciously

«Well, since you took away all of my money, I'm planning on lurking around you for a couple of days.»

«11pm, 'Purple Line' ?»

«Deal»

She put away her phone then, smiling slightly. When she sent him the first message, she never thought he'd reply and that he'd even accept her invitation, so that came all as a big surprise. She took a minute to think about what she has actually done but suddenly the announcement of the next stop took her back to reality, as it was hers.

Yunho and Hee Soo arrived to her house, being promptly welcomed by the butler, who opened the door for them.

The girl asked for her father then, wanting to waste no time in talking with him since her curiosity on what Yunho had to say was big however the man informed her that her father was not yet at home, so they would have to wait.

“Do you want to stay for dinner or do you have any appointments?” She asked

“No, I have no plans, I can stay.” He indicated

“Alright. Come with me then; the living room upstairs is more comfortable.”

Yunho followed the girl and as the both of them climbed the stairs, they saw Yoochun, going down. The boy looked at Yunho and then at Hee Soo, whom he addressed to

“I didn't hear you come in.”

“I just arrived”

“I see.” He said as he took another glance at Yunho before going down the stairs again, heading for the kitchen.

“Things are not looking pretty, huh?” Yunho asked

Hee Soo sighed “What did you expect? He has every right to be mad and I know he is although he does not show it. Sometimes I would rather he he'd yell and show how mad he is instead of being nice to me” She said.

Despite the fact that the visiting hours were long gone, this time Seung Ri didn't have to go to the extent of disguising herself in order to get inside Moon Bin's room since he had told her he would tell the securities about her coming. She just smiled slightly at the two scary-looking man and went inside the room as quick as she could, closing the door behind her.

Moon Bin was awaken, actually waiting for her so he smiled as she appeared.

“Do they have to look at me like that?” She said, as soon as she entered the room

“It's their job. They have to look scary.”

She hissed though, holding back a shiver as she thought about their looks once again “Anyway, I've brought you a present today.” She said, lifting up a fruit-filled basket

Moon Bin opened his eyes as wide as he could “Woah! Thanks!”

“Don't mention it. Consider it to be a farewell present” She said and he stopped smiling at once, asking for the basket and taking an apple from there as soon as Sung Ri got it near him.

“Yah! Are you eating it now? You didn't even wash it!”

“Shut it, I am as hungry as it can be. You have no idea of what kind of things they have been making me eat here.” He said as he took a bite from the fruit.

“No point in arguing with stubborn people. So, has the doctor say if you are really getting discharged tomorrow?”

“He came today and said it was okay for me to leave. My parents say it's better for me to go somewhere else for the moment” He said “I've told them this won't be happening again but they don't care and I can't exactly tell them that I KNOW the person who did this, won't do it again.” He finished.

“Yeah, you can't tell them.” She repeated “I won't be there to say goodbye, so I came now.”

“Are you worried about me?” He asked and a chuckle came afterwords “Why do you still worry about me after all I did? You should stay away from me.”

“I've been told that too”

“Then why?”

“It's your punishment. I'm being nice so you can feel bad about yourself since you have recently acquired a conscience too.” She said, mockingly.

“You are succeeding. Oh, by the way, I have something for you too. I asked the nurse to buy it because you used to love these” He said, as he stretched his arm to reach the drawer, taking a pink box from there.

Sung Ri could not help but smile as she recognized the box with her favourite chocolates “I still love these” She said “Well, since I've given you my present and so did you, I guess it's time for me to go. I don't know if we are going to see each other again, but good luck and take care of yourself.”

“Sung Ri? I know you don't like long speeches or mushy farewells but I'll say it anyway. I know there is a lot of things I have yet to apologise for and I know that even if I do, some of them won't deserve forgiveness but I want to thank you anyway for coming and for caring about me, specially when I was not man enough to live up to your expectations and to deserve all of that from you. I'm thankful and I will be forever sorry for what happened. I'm serious.”

“There's no use in thinking about the past. It's over, so let's leave it there and move on.”

“I've put my number inside de chocolate box. If you ever need something you only have to call and I'll take the first flight here.” He said

“I can imagine you doing that and then getting disowned by your parents”

“It's okay. If that happens I'll just get a job and move in with you” He joked

“Alright, I believe you. Well, the farewell is done so take care and have a safe trip tomorrow.”

“Thank you”

Sung Ri waved at Moon Bin before leaving the room and the hospital next. She felt like she was leaving behind a part of her life and it felt good to think of it as past now. She just had one more thing to deal with now: a stubborn blonde guy...
As she thought about what to do and probably what to say, she took her gloves from her bag and kept walking. She looked at her watched and thought she would be just in time for the next bus but the something scared the light out of her as someone touched her shoulder, making her scream like crazy.

“BE QUIET!” Junsu yelled back, startled because of her scream.

“Oh my God! Why do you do this to me? I thought you were some kind of ghost! What are you doing here anyway?”

He quirk a brow “Isn't that obvious? I was waiting for you to finish your 'date' ” He said, while making the motion of the inverted commas with his fingers as he said the word 'date'. It actually made Sung Ri smile.

“And can I ask why?”

“Why? Well, because it's late and dark and the streets are dangerous for a girl to be walking alone. I don't want your mother to kill me if anything happens to you. Here.” He said, handing her the helmet as he walked to his motorbike, ahead. Sung Ri just followed him, while putting on the helmet and after he was already sitting down, she sat behind him, grabbing the sides of his leather jacket.

“Hey Junsu? Does this mean you are not mad at me anymore?” She asked, perking her head a bit behind him but he didn't reply to her question.

“Grab tightly or you will fall down.” He said

“You are not mad anymore” She said, stating it now.

Junsu put on his own helmet, trying to hide the small smile forming in his lips and to maintain a straight face and once again did not answer Sung Ri's question. Instead, he just grabbed both of Sung Ri's hands and made them envelop his waist until she was basically hugging him from behind and drove off.

As they arrived home, Sung Ri headed to her studio and Junsu to his bedroom.
She tried to focus on all the homework she had to do but to no avail so she decided to get busy in the kitchen and almost against the chef's will decided to cook for herself.
As she finished cooking the noodles, she put the pot on a tray, with a bowl of kimchi to go along with it.

She climbed the stairs, heading to Junsu's room and as soon as she got there, she made sure she knocked first but she got no answer so she decided to go inside only to actually see that he was nowhere to be found. The girl put the tray on the table and went to the window, noticing that Junsu's studio had the light on so she got the tray again and went down the stairs and headed to the studio.

As she approached the door, she could clearly hear the sound of the piano so one thing was for sure: Junsu was there. Sung Ri didn't bother to knock this time and as she went inside, she saw Junsu sitting by the piano, clearly trying to compose something.

“Can you take a break for a snack?” She asked, making the boy look back, surprised

“What is that?” He asked, looking at the pot

“Can't you tell it's noodles?”

She put the tray on the floor then, sitting down and taking the lid off the pot as the steam and the smell of the noodles took over the place.

“Were you composing?” She asked as she slurped her noodles.

“I was trying.” Junsu said, getting up and joining her on the floor and around the noodle pot. “It's being harder that I thought though since it's the first time I try to compose something from scratch.”

“You never tried to compose before? That's weird for someone majoring in music.”

He smiled bitterly “I never had the time before.”

“Do you want help?” She asked “Let me see what you have written already.”

Junsu got up to get the music sheets and handed them to Sung Ri, who started looking at it while silently thinking.

“Oh by the way, how was it with Moon Bin?” Junsu inquired, making Sung Ri glare at him.

“That talk again?”

“I'm just curious. You went to the hospital to see him again so I am assuming that things are good again, right?”

“Ah, I don't care about this anymore!” She said, throwing the music sheets aside

“I didn't ask for your help anyway!” Junsu said, scrambling to grab the thrown sheets. “You're such a drama queen. I just asked you something.”

“Yes, everything is fine. He will be released tomorrow and I just went there because he is going out of the country and does not know when he is coming back. It was not a lover's reunion, I just went there to say goodbye once and for all but of course you have no interest on those details.” She said, looking at Junsu directly

“Right. I have no interest.” He affirmed “I just wanted to know how many days he'd get there. Apparently he's a fast healer”

Sung Ri gapped at the statement “You are really impossible!” She said, throwing her chopsticks at the boy, who dodged it swiftly

“YAH! ARE YOU NUTS? A person can get hurt with those! Look at all the mess you are making here.”

“Mess? Do you want me to show you what a mess really is?” She asked, with a devious look on her face.

Sung Ri got up from the floor as fast as she could, getting Junsu off guard and jumping on his back, while doing her best at messing his carefully styled hair. Junsu was able to get her out from his back and throw her to the bed, planning on tickling the hell out of her but before he could even put his hands on her she was already biting his hand and making him lose balance and fall on top of her. The result was a very frustrated Junsu on top of Sung Ri, with his earring stuck on her sweater's collar.

Now THAT was awkward...

“Stop moving” He said, while trying to even his breath “If you were not such a crazy girl, this wouldn't happen”

“If you didn't provoke me, this wouldn't happen.” She retorted

“If YOU didn't attack me, this wouldn't happen!”

“Is it just me, or this conversation is getting repetitive?” She said, sarcastically

“Just stay STILL! You are hurting me.”

“You are too heavy!”

“You'll regret if you don't shut up now” He threatened

“I really should have left you with no dinner...” She continued, ignoring his threats and purposely irritating him even more.

However, as the girl was still talking rubbish, Junsu just forgot about his earring for a second and turned his head just enough to shorten the only distance there was still between his lips and Sung Ri's, kissing her. Startled at first, it took her only a second to respond to Junsu's kiss who by that time already had his hand straddling up the girl's sweater. However as his hand went up a little more, Sung Ri opened his eyes, meeting Junsu's eyes, now opened also and saw him taking the back part of his earring and as the silver accessory was left hanging on the girl's sweater, Junsu's lips parted from hers and he was able to get up and adjust his hair and clothes.

Sung Ri got up from the bed at once too.

“Make sure you give me back the earring when you take it from there, okay? It's one of my favourites.”

“Sure” She said, nervously

“I'm going to my room. Make sure you turn off the lights when you come out.” Junsu stated and then left the studio while Sung Ri was just standing still and blushing.

She took several deep breathes before grabbing the tray with the pot and half the noodles still uneaten and turned off the light before leaving to her own studio, still lacking a proper reaction on what had just happen.

Well, one thing was for certain: there was no way she would be able to sleep that night...
