[... okay, THIS one has been throwing Bowser for a loop- since when were kidnapped princesses so calm? He'd expected a LOT more screaming and crying for help and/or mercy, not... not this. Honestly, it's worrying Bowser more than a little bit.]

(Dojima, completely unaware that he was even under attack, drew back in shock after only looking up to see a HUGE TURTLE ENGULFED IN FIRE. Bowser looks so very badass right now.)

Wha...what the hell just happened!?

[With a roar, Bowser withdraws into his shell and spins in a deadly whirlwind of spike and scale, sloughing off the flames after a few seconds. He gets back up and glares back over his shoulder at Dojima, looking only slightly worse for wear.]

I saved your worthless hide, that's what! Now stop standing there like a big dumb lump and either help me with this stupid thing, or get outta the way!

[The fire-breathing mutant looming over Bowser and Dojima starts hurling more fireballs at the both of them, as if to illustrate the Koopa King's point.]

(Point made. This time, Dojima manages to avoid the fireball on his own accord. His pistol is now at the ready and two bullets are fired at the mutant. The questions will have to wait until later. )

[king_of_koopas]

[Dojima's shots cause the mutant's body to jerk back once, twice, and it roars in pain before turning to face him fully- and Bowser takes that opportunity to unleash his OWN fire breath.]

[The mutant shrieks again, and the smell of burning flesh fills the air; it turns and starts lumbering off at a surprisingly high speed, retreating in the face of this double-pronged attack. Bowser doesn't bother chasing it, choosing instead to hurl insults at its back.]

HAH! Can't stand the heat, huh!? That'll teach YOU to tangle with the Koopa King!
