Did that door just sigh at me? I think it did. How interesting.

My Email is reading itself to me in order of hits so I hear what I deem most important first, books (if you can even really call them that) are translating themselves into the language I want to read them in when I pick them up, televisions turn onto the channels I want to watch when ( Read more... )

life, say hello to my ego, 'the' is totally a prefix, the universe, and everything, story time!, ta da~, to... my advantage!, vampires, freud wore women's panties, ho ho ho!, still reeling from the triplet story?, h2g2, say hello to my inherent lonelyness, heroism can be so banal, i r teh goodfellow, curse, techno day, meant to be sexually suggestive

The televisions keep switching to pornography stations, George!

...What do you think?

And whose fault is that, I wonder?

Mine, probably.

Oh, no wait. Mine, definately.

It only makes George Lucas sounds? I may envy you at this point.

It toasts the bread as I cut it. Quite ingenious, I must say.

...And everyone envies me for some reason or another; you know that.

I envy you only because your knife apparently still has a blade.

Do you have something that isn't yours? Return it to Mister Skywalker before he gets angry... actually, no, you could probably take him.

She'll be fine, it's not like she can get a heart attack or something.

Don't you mock. This City makes me resent my love for tea.

It's my party and I'll mock if I want to.

But you're supposed to be adaptable, ever present and constantly changing to adapt to your environment, I'm sure you can find a blinking box to heat some water.

That task would be simple if my vampires weren't hounding to drink it before I do. Unnaturally irritating.

So you aren't a vampire, then? Mea Culpa.

The solution is simple! Get away from the vampires.

The future? Nah, this is probably what my civilization will be like in a decade or so. A bit too much metal for a fairy's tastes, but the general idea is similiar. Foaly would be thrilled.

Thus, the future: Not now.

Foaly? Is he a prepubescent Irish prodigy, too?

Most people associate "the future" with technological advancements in a century or more.

He'd be insulted if he heard you say that. Foaly's the LEP's technical consultant, advisor, inventor, etcetera. A centaur.

When, exactly, did you start to mistake me for 'most people' and how do I correct this grievous err?

Oh, a centaur. What aren't they offended by, honestly?
