The future? Nah, this is probably what my civilization will be like in a decade or so. A bit too much metal for a fairy's tastes, but the general idea is similiar. Foaly would be thrilled.

Most people associate "the future" with technological advancements in a century or more.

He'd be insulted if he heard you say that. Foaly's the LEP's technical consultant, advisor, inventor, etcetera. A centaur.

I think the only thing that doesn't offend Foaly is when people ooh and ah at his inventions. Though to his credit he's not quite as irritating since he got married.
