Currently I'm 30 and I've been struggling to find a decent long term job for years. has anyone had any luck literally pounding the pavement and dropping their resume off in various places? (for me, anyway, it would be non-profits, museums, event planning/ pr agencies).  i've been doing the online thing and sending out a bunch of cover letters... and spectacularly, very few responses.  i've never encountered this issue before, but ( Read more... )

So, I applied for a job at a local natural foods co-op.  I'm going to guess that the pay is anywhere between 7.25 and 9.00 dollars per hour. There are benefits and an employee discount.

My SO was like, "Really, Why?!"
