Busy morning. I've taken the rugs and extra seats out of the van (still don't know where the seats are going to go) and swept it out. (Lots of crinkly bits of dried leaves, since anniemal's been using it as a drying shed.) Well, it's certainly been busy here.
anniemal made arrangements to get the van fixed. (It's got a fault in the SECURITY system (that we didn't even know it had) that made us late getting to Pennsic 2 years ago and then stranded us there for several days.) We got home about 00:30, so we did the return trip in 6 hours. Stops in Somerset, PA (potty, snacks) and Breezewood, PA (gas, McD's, potty). Eastbound on the PA Turnpike we saw westbound construction delays, but nothing much for us. There's a stretch of I-70 in Maryland that consistently has severe congestion when we get there late on Sunday ( Read more... )

Back at camp with:

1. the van, with the security system overridden (probably) - it stopped working again while they were closing it up;
2. a couple of salads from the nice Giant Eagle supermarket;
3. a 6-pack of Yuengling Lager (none for the driver); and
