I've recently read two really good books that fall into what I call the "contemporary intellectual literature" category that I enjoy so much. Books that are a step above light fare like chic lit or mass-produced fiction, but are still more "fun" to read than some other more academic titles, and I think a lot of you girls may like them as well.
