Hi I'm a long time lurker first time poster. I very much have enjoyed reading through the site, his place is a goldmine of usefullness!
I just thought I would post pictures off my first steamy-ish dress. It took almost a month to finish, but its finally done and I'd like to hear what you all have to say.

This is the second generation steampunk-themed vibrabot I've built. Twin pager motors are driven by a lithium cell, each turned on by a magnetic reed switch. Bringing the RE magnet close to the switches closes the circuits and powers up the bot.

The turned brass pieces were made on a watch lathe. The base of the bot is brass and brown oak.
