steampunk costume commission

Hello!
I am first time poster.
I love the steampunk fashion :)
I client asked for a steampunk out fit and this is what i have been working on.
She is keen on red and black, so this is my design she chose.

She has her own black leather corset so i worked around that.

I posted the toile in a similar weight etc fabric but it is dark grey. Looks very victorian, but red would still show everything up much better.


           
             
   
A bit of work to be done. Bolero is about one size too big, and the skirt has a apron draped accross the front but it is a bit tight.   The spats need a bit of ridgeline i think to keep the wrinkling at bay.
It is going to have a matching top hat and wrist cuffs also!

I like the direction its going, I will post the finished product, how ever far away that may be time wise!
