Because fialleril  suggested it a while back, yesterday I went out and bought The Things They Carried, a collection of stories about a platoon of soldiers in Vietnam. Grace and I watched Dead Poets Society tonight. It was an amazing movie, especially since I'd like to teach English later in life, but like many amazing movies, it left us in a crumpled wreck on the sofa, trying not to drip tears onto the upholstery.

I've been gone from the Boards and here for ages, it seems.
