I'm really trying to practice every day, but my fingers turn purple after a while and really hurt. I'm still building up the callouses on them (which sucks because I cannot stand not having soft hands) so it's a slow process. Also still trying to find songs to learn on guitar as well; I only know so many folk songs and want to learn more. *sigh*

... free tomorrow night? I'd be game for some sewing and hanging out then. If it's at my house, we just have the big dog to deal with (but I think you've been over before and know him). I've got a new kitchen table, too, which makes for a nice place to work on projects as well.

That says it all. They're some of the worst drivel out there. They've almost made Anne Rice forgivable in contrast.
Also, moleskin pads. They're designed for hikers with blistered feet. Basically they're a band-aid with a callous. It can help reduce the pain during the transition period...

I'll definitely look into those. They'd definitely help as typing at work is proving to be quite painful and it doesn't help much that I sit in front of a computer pretty much all day long.
