One of the really fun things about fandom and the fannish works we produce is the way we can play 'what if'. What if Sam were the older brother, what if Dean had the powers, what if Mary had lived and John died when the boys were little - the possibilities are endless for creating universes that are almost the same, but one twist made their lives different.
